Some practical remarks! -

bullet What screen resolution do I need?
The films are optimised for a screen resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels (SXGA). A smaller resolution like 1012 x 768 pixels (XGA) is not recommended.
A resolution of 800 x 600 pixels (SVGA) is too small.

bullet What do I need to see the films?
A broadband connection is recommended. The data volume of the films is between 50 and 150 MB, depending on the length.
To see the films, your browser (Internet-Explorer / Firefox / Opera / Safari) needs a small additional program: the Flash Player.

bullet What to do when I can not see the films?
When you can not see any films, you will probably get the message to update your Flash Player. This program can be downloaded for free and it does not contain harmful substances (See the link on this page). When installing the Flash Player, it is not recommended to also install Extra options. Check the installed plug-ins of your browser. The Flash Player should be Version 8 or higher. Many companies have deactivated the Flash Player from their network PC's. In that case ask your systems operator.

bullet What is the format of the films?
The films are decoded in the Flash format (FLV). The advantage of this format is that you can start watching the video right away.
You don't have to wait until the full download is completed. Alternative formats (like Quicktime, Real, Avi) are not supported and are not available on this site.

bullet In what language are your films?
Since our home base is Germany, most interviews in the films and most of this website is in the German language. We know many of our viewers speak English. So our most recent films already have English subtitles. When time is available we work on making more films available with English subtitles. Come back to check them out! If you are into inline skating we are sure you can also enjoy our films when German is not your language!
